ANKOLE COTTAGE
Half of the old dairy has been transformed into a modern and comfortable 4 sleeper self-contained cottage with kitchen, dining area, lounge, shower & toilet with an outside verandah with views. Equipped with a Weber and a portable fire drum.
Two bedrooms with 4 singles with the option of one to be made into a super-king on request. Full bedding provided. Towels not provided. Electrical appliances in the kitchen with a gas stove. Easy access to the swimming pool.
Zebra Cottage
The old farm garage transformed into a delightful 4-sleeper cottage with a private deck & fire-pit over-looking a magnificent view of the Umgeni river.
Two bedrooms (1 double bed, 2 singles), a lounge, one bathroom, kitchenette with 2 plate gas top, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer. Electricity/invertor and full bedding provided. Towels not provided.
Zebra Cottage and Rooms guests have easy access to the swimming pool.
Kudu & impala rooms
Historical farm stores renovated into comfortable accommodation gives these Rooms a rustic charm. Both rooms have electricity/inverter facility, en-suite bathrooms, access to a large separate kitchen with a small dishwasher, a lounge, verandah and a firepit. Full bedding provided. Towels not provided.
One booking at a time at the Rooms ensures exclusive use of the kitchen facilities.
Rooms and Zebra Cottage guests have easy access to the swimming pool.
Kudu Room – sleeps 6
2 single beds (can be made into super king on request) in the entrance room, and 2 single beds with a bunk bed in the interleading room.
Impala Room – sleeps 2

Kranz hut
Perched on the hill and overlooking a spectacular view of the gorge, the Kranz Hut has a stand-alone kitchen with essential equipment with small table + chairs, a bedroom hut that sleeps 2 (one double bed) with covered verandah, a separate outdoor shower and private flushable loo.
No electricity, lights are solar, fridge is gas, and water is heated through a paraffin “donkey heater”. Full bedding provided. Towels not provided.

HORSESHOE COTTAGE
An open-plan 4-sleeper cottage (4 single beds that can be made into 2 super kings on request), situated on the banks of the Umgeni River.
No electricity, fully equipped kitchen with gas fridge, a bathroom, and water heated through a wood-chip burner. Full bedding provided. Towels not provided.
Low-clearance vehicles not suitable for the Horseshoe road.

bush camp
A sheltered and protected campsite on the Rietspruit and an approach over a bridge to a grass area with big trees. You have exclusive use of the site so you don’t have to share with strangers. Suitable for up to 15 people.
No electricity. Hot water from gas geysers + solar lights in indoor ablutions with two showers and two flushable toilets and a sink bay.

RIETSPRUIT CAMPSITE
Located next to the Rietspruit stream, this large campsite is a birders’ paradise. Ample space on immaculate lawns and trails nearby.
Exclusive use of the site means no sharing with strangers. Suitable for up to 15 people.
No electricity. Hot water from gas geysers + solar lights in indoor ablutions with flushable toilets.

uzavolo campsite
The bush escape that you've been dreaming about!
Exclusive use of the site means no sharing with strangers. Accommodate a maximum of 8 people.
One outdoor shower, a flushable loo, no electricity & hot water through a wood-burner geyser. Perfect for smaller groups wanting that real "sit by the campfire and listen to Nightjars" experience.

saligna wild campsite
This wild camp is for the more adventurous campers looking for an authentic wild experience in nature. Perfect for testing out your overlanding equipment, too!
Located close to the cliff edge (young children need to be supervised!) with amazing views of the valley and river below.
The camp features a screened outdoor bucket shower, a pit loo, a tap with running water, a fire pit, and level camping area suitable for two vehicles each with a ground tent.
A high clearance vehicle is required to access this camp.
